As a credit union we are a special organisation – we are democratically controlled by our member-owners and not vast institutional shareholders. This means when we hold our Annual General Meeting we hear the views and opinions of the people at the heart of our business.
When you save or borrow with us you are more than just a customer, you become a member and a real part of Darlington Credit Union. It means you can have a say in the way things are run and can benefit from any surplus we make.
The AGM is the perfect opportunity to find out more about us and to have a say on our future. Our AGM will be held virtually this year – although in many ways that might not be ideal I do hope it means more of you will be able to attend and find out our future plans form the comfort of your own home.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 24 June at 4pm
At the AGM we will be discussing the past year and all its challenges and looking to the future. We offer such a wide range of financial products and services from savings and current accounts to corporate accounts and financial education so there will be lots to talk about!
If you would like to attend to find out more about us please email carole@darlingtoncreditunion.co.uk to register and I look forward to seeing many of you then.
